Agenda of day

Start of the organization and coordination between the parts of the Maputo Town Hall, specifically with the Office of the District of KaMukutuna, the Secretariat of the neighborhood of George Dimitrov and Urbanism and Regional Planning Department of Polytechnic University of Catalonia · Barcelona Tech

Points to be treated:

Presentation of the project.
Presentation of the 'Planning matrix'.
Organization of the sub-activities A-1.1.2 and A-1.1.3 of activity A-1.1
Development of the meeting

The coordinator Arwen presents the project, activities and objectives.
The Execution Plan and Calendar of the Secretariat of Amelia.
The coordinator Arwen communicates the mechanisms, activities and collaborating actors (and possible collaborators) of the project at the level of gender and vulnerable groups.
Attendees must arrange the base work for the implementation of activities A-1.1.2 and A-1.1.3, and in particular with the chiefs of the block.

 

Agreements

Beginning of the basic work between the parts

A- The coordinator Arwen will create a folder in the Dropbox shared between the DUOT, the Municipal District of KaMubukwana and the Secretary of George Dimitrov, when Amelia Secretariat can take into account and access to Dropbox

B- The second meeting between secretary Amelia and the coordinator Arwen is established to transfer to the Department of Urbanism and Regional Planning the database of the blogs, contacts of the updated chiefs, on paper, other general data of the neighborhood (census, characteristics social, etc.), other information related to the neighborhood (studies, indicators, etc.) and actors / organizations / associations that exist and work in the neighborhood.

C- A full visit to the neighborhood has been established so that the coordinator Arwen can have more knowledge before the program with chiefs of the block.

D- Secretary Amelia will inform the district chiefs about the project and will organize the program of work with the chiefs.

E- The program of work with the chiefs, to obtain the information base of the existing one in each block, next to the positive and less positive questions of each one, is configured in four days, with two days per week, where the bosses will be interviewed to obtain the information necessary for the data base.

 

Logistics and contributions from parties

F- For the logistical coordination of the program with the block leaders, four days (2 days / week, total of 2 weeks) are established, with different locations for work at strategic points in the neighborhood (still to be determined) that facilitate access and availability of chiefs:

• Work day 1: 22/01/19. Chiefs from 1 to 34: 9-12am chiefs 1 to 17; 13-16pm chiefs 18 to 34.
• Work day 2: 24/01/19. Chiefs from 35 to 68: 9-12am chiefs 35 to 51; 13-16pm chiefs 52 to 68.
• Work day 3: 29/01/19. Chiefs from 69 to 103: 9-12am chiefs 69 to 88; 13-16pm chiefs 86 to 103.
• Jornada 3: 31/01/19. Chiefs from 104 to 138: 9-12h chiefs 104 to 120; 13-16pm chiefs 121 to 138.

G- Chief Gildo and Secretary Amelia will participate in the beginning of the conference to facilitate the work, inform the chiefs again about the work that will be done and the logistics of the conference.
H- Coordinator Arwen's full visit to the district is established for the 17/01/19 at 8 am, starting at the secretariat of the neighborhood. The secretary Amelia is responsible for looking for someone to accompany coordinator Arwen throughout the visit.

Assumptions to be addressed at the meeting 2

  • Define and formalize next steps.
  • Detailed project calendar.
  • Program for the mapping of neighborhood blocks, considering that the current ones only focus on the central area, either the survey that has the Municipal Department of Urban Planning and Environment, and Kaya Clinica.
  • Mechanisms for counting the dedicated hours of district technicians to the project as they will bring value to CMM.
