Extension Project SEC-BG
We're glad to announce the extension of SEC-GD into SEC-BG (in Bagamoyo), our second Action Plan for the Strategic Upgrading of Informal Neighborhoods. Within the same framework of SEC-GD (urban planning and sustainable development; knowledge production and dissemination, and capacitation of the agents involved; and creation of a network of stakeholders for the implementation of the strategic upgrading plan), we are expanding geographically the operational plan and also integrating a pilot project with an Integrated Information System for data creation, civic participation and urban management (incidents in the municipal services -water, waste, energy, public lighting- and emergencies/risk areas -flooding, crime, etc.-).
